About this game

The coffeehouse tile game: arrange your rack, open with 101 points and go out with your last tile.

From a corner teahouse to a pasha's mansion, you play 101 Okey against three regulars at each of three tables. Check the indicator, know your okey, arrange your tiles into runs and sets; open once they reach 101 points or five pairs, then add tiles to the runs and sets on the table and throw your last one. The lowest score wins the hand, wins open new tables, and at the Table of the Day everyone plays the same deal.

How to play

  1. On your turn draw from the middle or take the tile your left neighbour threw, then discard one to your right.
  2. Numbers in a row in one colour make a run, one number in different colours a set. The tile above the indicator is the okey and stands for any tile.
  3. When the runs and sets you placed side by side reach 101 points, press Open; five pairs open too.
  4. Once open, add tiles to the runs and sets on the table; whoever discards their last tile goes out and scores -101. Throwing an okey or a tile that fits the table costs 101.

Controls

  • Drag a tile: move it on the rack, add it to a run or set, or discard it
  • Tap a tile, then Discard or the run or set it fits
  • Tap the stock to draw; tap the tile on your left to take it
  • Keyboard: D draw, A take, arrows and Space pick, X discard, I lay off, O open, S / C sort, B put back
  • Esc or P: pause

Tips

  • Sort runs finds the arrangement worth the most points; you can still move tiles by hand afterwards.
  • Before opening keep your high tiles, they reach 101 faster; once open, throw the high ones first.
  • Throw tiles like the ones your right-hand neighbour threw: they are of no use to them.

Questions and answers

Is it free?

Yes, you can play it for free. There are no ads inside the game.

Which rules does it use?

Traditional 101 Okey: 106 tiles, the indicator, okey and false jokers, opening with 101 points or five pairs, adding to runs and sets and 101-point penalties; an okey left in hand counts 101, and laying every tile down at once before anyone opened (going out in one go) scores -202 / 404. The 1 is only the lowest tile of a run (no 12-13-1). If the middle runs out, the hand ends and everyone scores what is left.

What does the daily challenge count?

The hands you win that day: every hand you finish with the lowest score at the table is a win. Replaying the Table of the Day after winning it does not count.
